How to get there

Navigate via GPS to the following location: Contrada Ajeni, 72018 San Michele Salentino BR, Italy
Then use this map to drive to the house.

Deactivating and activating the alarm

When driving up the parkingplace , deactivate the alarm by pushing the left button of the remote control .

(You hear 1 BEEP - alarm is deactivated )

The main entrance of the house is the south-facing window (see: stairs).
It is currently unlocked and can be slid open without a key (the lock is linked to the alarm system).

Always activate the alarm when leaving the house.
Use the remote control, push the left button (you hear 2 BEEPS now , the door is closed)

In the evening, activate the alarm inside the house by pressing the house icon (top left) on the alarm panel.
All doors must be closed for this, including the door to the storage room.
In the morning, deactivate the alarm by entering the code 8400 and then pressing OK.(right under)

Controlling outdoor lighting

When you enter the house, you'll find the alarm display and two switch panels on your left.
The top panel has four buttons (these are for the outdoor lighting):
From left to right:

  • South terrace (stairs / entrance)

  • West terrace (covered)

  • North-facing window + east terrace (tree + alcove)

As soon as evening falls, these lights switch on automatically.
It is better not to use those 4 buttons if you want the lights to switch on automatically.

The lighting for the stairs and the alcove (dimmable) can be operated using the switches located by the stairs and in the alcove.

Controlling lighting in the kitchen and living room

When you enter the house, you'll find the alarm display and two switch panels on your left.

The bottom panel has two buttons:

  • Left: kitchen island

  • Right: all lamps plugged into outlets (see sitting area)

The floor lamps in the sitting area should therefore NOT be turned on/off at the lamp itself.

But it is still possible to dim the light above the table

Instead, use the switch at the south-facing window/entrance or the left switch on the panel at the entrance of each bedroom.

The kitchen lights should always be turned off at the entrance / south-facing window.

Controlling lighting in the rooms

Upon entering each room, you’ll find a panel with two switches:

Left switch: turns the living room floor lamps on/off
Right switch: floor lamp in the room (so you don’t need to turn it off at the lamp itself)

At each side of the bed, there is a reading light (controlled with the switch).
The other switch by the bed is for turning the floor lamp on/off.
